So rich, so smooth - Lip butters!

Hi, I have a bit of a problem:

Behold, Revlon Lip Butters

They just look so plush, in their quilted tubes...

Left to Right: Candy Apple, Sugar Plum, Brown Sugar, Creme Brulee, Strawberry Shortcake, Sugar Frosting, Gumdrop.

I know these have been raved about a lot in the blogosphere and youtube but I just wanted to share my thoughts. Some people don't care for these, but they just feel so gooooooooood, no strange taste, non drying (when you moisturize your lips regularly, as with any colored lip product), creamy, highly pigmented for the formula, cheap... how can you not want this on your lips?

  1. gah i've been seeing these everywhere! they must be good though! :)
when i saw these a few months back, i was actually steered AWAY from them because of the packaging --for whatever reason, i think it looks tacky!
next time i'm in target, i'll have to pick one (or two!) up!
hope all is well my dear :)

    1. I can understand that, just being plastic isn't as impressive as metal xD!

    1. I couldn't decide either, all the colors look so different depending on your skin tone.

  3. You and I share the same problem - I'm definitely a little bit obsessed with these lip butters :) I wish they were affordable where I live though, in Australia one of these retails at $21.95! Luckily I bought them on sale, but even then, they are priced quite high compared to the US/UK. Love Candy Apple, Strawberry Shortcake and Gumdrop of the ones you have :)

    1. You are kidding me! That is insane 0.0!! Our range in the US is $6.50-7.50, I couldn't imagine paying $20 for drugstore, is that common there for US based brands?
