{Photo Diary}: New Orleans - French Quarter | Honeymoon Part 1

Recently, Q and I ventured out of our little bubble of a comfort zone and embarked on a major trip to Texas to visit my sister. Along the way, we made a detour to New Orleans as part 1 of our Honeymoon trip, to justify the splurge I suppose. We stayed in the Omni Royal Hotel located in the French Quarter district, and made our way around the different streets to Jackson Square to continue enjoying and exploring more areas. It's was a quick trip, but quite memorable. Q discovered a new taste to add to his palate, cajun food, and I gushed over the 18th century architecture which includes influences from French, Spanish, and American styles.

I hope you enjoyed me sharing my trip with you. If you have any questions about how I planned the trip or how you got around the area, feel free to ask! I researched a lot before we left.

Have you been to New Orleans? Do you have any other destination recommendations?

XOXO,
Carolyn

  9. Wow, some of the architecture is gorgeous! I've never been to New Orleans or Texas. Although I did have a layover in Dallas when I was coming back to California from New York, but that doesn't really count.
