{Review} Vita Sciences Maxasorb Melatonin Cream

An empty house which was once filled and being in medical school is quite the formula for restless less and periods of insomnia. I was recently accepted to review content for Vita Science sponsored by Brandbacker on one of there sleep aids. Maxasorb Melatonin cream has been formulated to topically delivery Melatonin.

Its very easy to use and less of a hassle than using oral melatonin which you have to measure. The dispenser delivers 3 milligrams of melatonin with a full press of the pump, the correct dose, which can be rubbed into the skin of your arms or legs just before bedtime. It is easily absorbed and is an odorless lotion.

Not only can this be used as a sleeping aid, it can also be used to help combat  the effects of jet lag. The manufacture recommends applying the lotion the day of travel close to the target bedtime at your destination. This will aid in falling asleep faster, improves alertness during the day, and reduces daytime fatigue. Use the product throughout the trip and for a week after return to help your body readjust its natural sleep cycle.

I still have severe trouble sleeping, so I might have not been the best test subject to review content for this cream. Though, I have notice a significant improvement in becoming tired and staying asleep while using this melatonin cream. I think this is an easy product to use and I would love to see it in stores closer by so I can continue to use it.

{Review} OZ Natural's Hyaluronic Acid Serum

I recently had the opportunity to sample a full size product of OZ Natural's hyaluronic acid serum sponsored by BrandBacker.

I was so happy to be selected to review this product. I remember a time when I searched high and low for a good hyaluronic acid serum to find "0" on the market, now there are many to choose from.

The product has clinical strength anti aging, anti wrinkle serum (no cream) which is proven to plump skin and fill in those fine lines and wrinkles. Additionally, it is cruelty free, vegan and does not contain alcohol, parabens or sulfates and is safe for all skin type.

This serum has a faint citrus fragrance and applies smoothly. I have enjoyed using this product for the past month and will definitely be repurchasing this item

{Home Decor}: Dresser Update

For as long as I can remember, this dresser has always been in my room. Even when I moved out of my parents house and in with my husband this dresser came with me! Obviously a little bit of work was needed to update the look.

  • Bullseye 1, 2, 3 Primer
  • Paintbrush
  • Paint
  • Microfiber roller
  • Polyurethane sealer
  • Spray paint
  • drawer pulls
This was my first major DIY furniture project so I was so apprehensive about everything! I first had the task of figuring out how to "resurface" the dresser. I wasn't comfortable sanding the outer surface so I invested in a primer that would create a desirable painting surface. This was applied with a brush as opposed to using a roller to give the illusion of a wood grain on the dresser, which I absolutely love how it turned out.

I found one of the hardest task amongst everything was to figure out a paint color! A soft white was chosen matching the white furniture of my bedroom. The hardware update was an absolute must. I choose to keep and update the original metal pulls with spray paint and replace the wooden ones with new metal pulls.

Completing this dresser makeover significantly improved the visual appeal of the space it occupies by opening the space and making the area brighter and cleaner looking.

What do you think of the makeover. Do you have any project recommendations?
